Services

PRI Technology staffs technology roles through contract, contract-to -hire, direct hire and executive search. Which one fits depends on how long the work lasts, how certain the requirement is, and how senior the hire needs to be.

01Overview

What does an IT staffing firm actually do?

An IT staffing firm finds, screens and places technology professionals into roles a company cannot fill from its own pipeline — either because the work is temporary, because the skill is scarce, or because the search needs to happen quietly. PRI Technology does this as the technology division of Perennial Resources International.

The firm works in four commercial modes. Contract staffing supplies consultants for a defined period with PRI carrying the employment relationship. Contract-to-hire runs the same way with an agreed conversion. Direct hire is permanent placement. Executive search covers technology leadership — CIO, CTO, CISO and CDO — on either a contingency or a retained basis.

In every mode, candidates are identified, interviewed, screened, tested and reference-checked before submission, with background screening covering education, employment, criminal and credit history, and drug testing conducted on request. The same standard applies whether the mandate is a three-month contract or a chief information officer search.

02Engagement models

How do the four engagement models differ?

Each model below is a distinct commercial relationship, with its own risk profile and its own fee structure. The quoted lines are PRI's own, from the firm's published services page.

01

Contract and consulting staffing

We expect the unexpected.perennialresources.com/our-services/

Technology professionals engaged for a defined period of work — a migration, a release, a backfill, a regulatory deadline. PRI carries the employment relationship so your team carries the project.

  • Two levels of back-up employees, which PRI describes as unique to the staffing industry.
  • A second back-up person on your highest-priority projects at no cost to you.
  • Consultant incentive bonuses tied to client satisfaction surveys, so the person on your project is measured on your experience of it.
  • Every consultant is reference-checked and background-screened before submission.

02

Contract-to-hire

Feel free to hire our best consultants from us.perennialresources.com/our-services/

A try-before-you-hire route for roles where fit is genuinely hard to judge from an interview loop. The consultant works on your team, on PRI paper, and converts when both sides are sure.

  • Useful where other agencies have already failed to fill a hard-to-staff role.
  • The evaluation period is a real working trial, not an extended interview.
  • Conversion terms are agreed at the start of the engagement, not negotiated at the end.

03

Direct hire

No other selection criteria are as exact or thorough as ours.perennialresources.com/our-services/

Permanent placement, with the full screen, interview, test and reference-check process completed on every candidate before a single profile reaches you.

  • Screening, interviewing, testing and reference checks happen before submission.
  • Background screening covers education and employment verification, plus criminal and credit searches.
  • Drug testing is conducted upon request.

05

Managed and project-based teams

Staff augmentation at team scale.derived from the published staff-augmentation offer

Where the mandate is a team rather than a hire, PRI assembles multi-person technology groups through staff augmentation, drawing on subject-matter experts across the nine disciplines above.

  • Built from the same screened bench as single-role contract staffing.
  • Senior PRI staff stay on the account for the life of the engagement.

TODO(client): confirm whether PRI Technology sells managed / statement-of-work delivery as a distinct commercial model, and on what terms. This section is written from the published staff-augmentation language only.

04Process

What happens after you send a role brief?

Four steps, in order, with a principal of the firm on the account throughout.
  1. 01

Define the role with someone senior

Your first conversation is with a principal of the firm. PRI builds company, department and user profiles so the standard you set is applied consistently on the next requisition as well as this one.

  2. 02

Search the network before the database

Recruiters are trained to keep current with the technologies they staff, which is what makes a shortlist of practitioners rather than a shortlist of keyword matches.

  3. 03

    Screen, verify and position

Every candidate is interviewed and reference-checked. Background screening covers education and employment verification plus criminal and credit searches; drug testing is conducted on request.

  4. 04

Stay on the account through onboarding

Terms and process are agreed at the start — no surprises. On the highest-priority projects a second back-up person is held at no cost to you.

FAQ

Questions about how PRI engages

Fees, screening depth, and what happens when a placement does not hold.

Contract staffing places a consultant for a defined period of work, with PRI carrying the employment relationship. Contract-to-hire runs the same way but with an agreed conversion to your payroll. Direct hire is permanent placement, with the full screen, interview, test and reference-check process completed before any profile is submitted.

Every candidate is identified, interviewed, screened, tested and reference-checked. Background screening includes education and employment verification as well as criminal and credit searches. Drug testing is conducted upon request. Screening happens before submission, not after you express interest.

Two options. Contingency search carries no fee unless a placement is made. Retained search is a fixed cost with dedicated attention until the search is completed. Which one fits depends on the seniority of the mandate and how exclusive the search needs to be.

PRI maintains two levels of back-up employees, which the firm describes as unique to the staffing industry, and offers a second back-up person on the highest-priority projects at no cost. Consultant incentive bonuses are tied to client satisfaction surveys.

Describe the role or the project and PRI will tell you which engagement model fits — including when the honest answer is that you do not need one.
