A healthtech SaaS company is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to build out end-to-end and API test coverage ahead of a major release. You'll work in a Playwright and TypeScript-based framework the team stood up last year, extending coverage into a new patient-scheduling module while also stabilizing existing flaky tests.
This is a fully remote contract role with flexible hours, provided there is meaningful overlap with an Eastern-time-zone-based engineering team for standups and release planning. The team runs CI through GitHub Actions, and test results feed directly into release go/no-go decisions.
We're looking for someone who has built automation frameworks from scratch rather than only maintained an existing one, and who is comfortable reading application code to debug failing tests rather than just filing bug reports.
