Diagnosis before prescription. Always in that order.
Technology and digital transformation advisory diagnoses why a technology estate is not delivering before recommending what to change. It covers the large, expensive, hard-to-reverse decisions — platform replacement, cloud direction, ERP, architecture, delivery model — and the sequencing that keeps them from colliding.
01 / 04Overview
How does Technology & Transformation work?
Transformation programmes rarely fail on technology. They fail because the diagnosis was skipped: a solution was chosen early, usually by someone selling it, and everything after that was an attempt to make it fit. We work the other way. The first phase establishes what is actually wrong — where work stalls, which systems are load-bearing, what the current estate costs to run, and which constraints are real versus inherited. Only then do options go on the table, each with its cost, its risk and its honest failure mode. Recommendations are sequenced so that the organisation can absorb them; a plan that requires three simultaneous replacements is a plan that will be abandoned in month five. Where a decision has already been made and cannot be unmade, we scope the work to make it survivable rather than relitigating it.

What do you get?
- 01
Current-state diagnosis
What the estate costs to run, where delivery actually stalls, and which systems are genuinely load-bearing — established from evidence rather than from the org chart’s opinion of itself.
- 02
Options with honest failure modes
Two or three viable paths, each priced, each with the conditions under which it goes wrong and the early signals that it is going wrong.
- 03
Sequenced plan
The order of work, paced to what the organisation can absorb alongside its day job, with dependencies and decision points marked rather than assumed.
- 04
Delivery-model recommendation
Who should do the work: in-house teams, contract specialists, a systems integrator, or some combination — and what each option costs in money, time and retained knowledge.
Why us, specifically
A systems integrator diagnoses toward the work it wants to sell. We have nothing to implement, and the delivery-model recommendation is allowed to conclude that your own people should do it.

Call us when
- A programme is behind schedule, over budget, or both, and the reasons keep changing.
- You are being asked to approve a platform decision you cannot independently assess.
- Run costs keep climbing while delivery keeps slowing.
- Every proposed fix arrives from the vendor that would be paid to implement it.
- Integration work from an acquisition has stalled.

Questions we get asked
Start with a conversation, not a proposal.
Tell us what you are dealing with. If it is work we should do, we will tell you what a bounded assessment of it looks like. If it is not, we will tell you that too.
