Decide where AI earns its keep. Then govern what you fund.

AI strategy and adoption advisory decides which AI work a business should fund, in what order, and under what controls. We inventory what is already running, price it, stop what will not pay, and return a sequenced roadmap with named owners — a plan a board can approve and engineers can start on.

01 / 04Overview

How does AI Strategy & Adoption work?

Most organisations do not have an AI problem. They have a dozen pilots, three overlapping vendors, a cloud bill nobody has attributed and no single owner of the outcome. We begin by mapping what is already in flight: the sanctioned projects, the tools teams adopted on their own, the licences finance is quietly renewing. Each one gets a cost and an owner. Then we separate the work that moves a line on the P&L from the work that produces a demo. What comes back is a sequenced roadmap — fund, defer, stop — with the governance needed to keep the funded work inside your risk appetite, and the skills each item requires spelled out. That last part matters: a roadmap you cannot hire against is a wish list. When the plan is approved, PRI Technology sources the people to build it.

What do you get?

Things that get handed over, not adjectives. Scope is agreed before an engagement starts.
  • 01

    AI spend and usage inventory

Every model, licence, vendor and pilot currently running, with a cost and an accountable owner attached to each. For most clients this is the first time the whole picture exists on one page.

  • 02

    Use-case triage

Each candidate use case scored on value, data readiness and risk, then sorted into fund, defer or stop — with the reasoning written out, so the decision survives challenge from the people it disappoints.

  • 03

    Governance baseline

An acceptable-use position, a review path for new use cases, and the data-handling and disclosure rules your customers, auditors and regulators will eventually ask you to produce.

  • 04

    Build, buy or staff recommendation

For each funded item: what to buy off the shelf, what to build, and exactly which roles you need on the team to build it — sized against what those people cost and how long they take to hire.

Why us, specifically

Advisory firms hand over the roadmap and leave. PRI Technology already recruits artificial-intelligence, data-engineering and cloud professionals, so the plan we write is a plan we can also staff.

Is this the right engagement for you?

Who buys this

  • Boards and CEOs who have been asked for an AI position and do not have one
  • CIOs and CTOs carrying the delivery risk for someone else’s announcement
  • CFOs who can see the spend accumulating but not the return

Call us when

  • The board wants a credible AI answer at the next meeting.
  • Pilots have been running for months and none has reached production.
  • AI and cloud spend is climbing and nobody can attribute it.
  • Teams have adopted tools you did not approve and cannot see.
  • A vendor has proposed a platform and you have no independent read on it.

04 / 04FAQ

Questions we get asked

We advise. We define what should be built, in what order, under which controls, and what it will take to staff. Delivery is then handled by your own teams, by contractors PRI Technology places, or by an implementation partner you choose — with us reviewing the work if you want a second set of eyes.

That is the normal case. Work already in flight is the input, not an obstacle. The inventory covers what exists first, and part of the output is an honest read on which of those efforts to continue funding.

Where a use case is genuinely better solved by buying, we say so, name the category and set out the evaluation criteria you should score against. Selecting the vendor is your decision and we are happy to sit in the evaluation, but the shortlist is built from your requirements rather than from a partnership.

Start with a conversation, not a proposal.

Tell us what you are dealing with. If it is work we should do, we will tell you what a bounded assessment of it looks like. If it is not, we will tell you that too.
